Book cover for Og så drukner jeg...
(translated: And Then I Drown) by Ditte Wiese, a YA novel, created as part of a project at the Academy.

The book is described as:
"A gripping novel about perfectionism, anxiety, and the weight of expectations. 18-year-old Josephine has planned everything—grades, boyfriend, future—but cracks start to show. Fueled by to-do lists and beta-blockers, she struggles to stay afloat. Wiese delivers a raw and empathetic portrait of a generation under pressure."

The cover motif was created using the photographic printing process cyanotype, aiming to evoke the sensation of being under water — a sense of being out of control, submerged in chaos. The book cover is double-sided, and when unfolded, the back functions as a poster.

An exerpt from the book:
"I crumbled together and tried to stretch my legs
In an explosion, to get up
To the air. Air.”
